A new Digital Enterprise business support programme has been launched targeted at eligible growth focused small to medium sized businesses in the Leeds City region.
The £8.5m Digital Enterprise Programme, which will run to March 2019, is designed to help eligible small firms across the Leeds city region invest in the right digital solution or access the most appropriate area of knowledge around digital technology, that can support their growth and development.
There are two types of support available:
- A Digital Growth Voucher scheme i.e. financial support to help firms invest in digital technologies to help them grow and develop. Support of up to £5,000 per business is available to invest in new technologies or advance their digital skills. It can also be used to upgrade websites, enhance digital connections or acquire new hardware or software.
- A programme of workshops, masterclasses and mentoring support, offering participants access to knowledge and expertise on digital topics e.g. digital marketing, social media and cybersecurity.
The programme has a target of assisting at least 1000 eligible small to medium sized businesses.
